Does Mixbook upload my photos?

Yes. Mixbook is a print store. You design after upload, then they print and ship. Pressbook curates and lays out on the device. Nothing is uploaded to Pressbook to make the book. Shared copies, if you choose, travel through your iCloud.

Is Pressbook a print lab?

No. Pressbook is a finishing studio. Pro exports a print-lab PDF up to 600 DPI. You take that file to any lab that accepts print PDFs. Mixbook, Chatbooks, Artifact Uprising, and Shutterfly ship their own hardcover.

Are Pressbook stickers, layouts, and sharing free?

Yes. All 249 layouts, 593 stickers in 10 packs, 81 filters, 70 fonts, collages, carousels, Reels, private share, and Memory Capsules are free. Free albums cap at 20 photos with a small watermark. Pro raises the cap to 1,000 photos, unlocks 600 DPI and HD export, and removes the watermark.

Does Pressbook work on Mac?

Yes. Same App Store listing as iPhone and iPad. macOS 15+. In Photos, File > Create > Book starts an album. Create > Other starts a collage or carousel.

Can family comment without a Pressbook account?

Yes on a private invite. Guests open in Pressbook through the sender's iCloud, react, and leave comments. A public link is reactions only. Sharing is free. There is no Pressbook account.

Where does the AI run?

On the device. Apple Vision scores frames locally. There is no Pressbook cloud model on your camera roll. Mixbook-class apps run design after upload.
