What albums can I make?
Trip books, wedding albums, first-year books, a year in review. The album is the product. Download once.
Does it work on iPad or Mac?
Yes. iPad is the desk. iPhone works. Mac is on the App Store, macOS 15+. In Photos, File > Create > Book hands the set to Pressbook. Nine trims and the JPEG lab package are on iPad and Mac.
I shoot with a camera. Can I use this?
Yes, if the photos are on the iPad, iPhone, or Mac you work on. Copy selects over, then cull and layout there. Pressbook does not ingest from a card.
Do photos upload to Pressbook?
No. Curation, layout, and export stay on the device. Private shares travel through your iCloud, not a Pressbook server.
Can I print at my usual lab?
Yes. Pro exports a print PDF at 150, 300, or 600 DPI. On iPad and Mac, a JPEG zip of the spreads for Miller's, WHCC, Madera. Cover is not a spread. Take the file to any lab you already trust. Pressbook does not print or ship books.
Can I put my studio mark on the book?
Yes, if we add it. Layouts that match your books, a mark on the title page or cover, or a one-off for a season or a trip. Email us. We will say yes or no in plain language. Using the app does not depend on that conversation.
What do I pay?
The same as everyone else. Free covers 20-photo albums. Pro is $4.99 a month, $29.99 a year, or $79.99 once. Upgrade in the app when the book is bigger than Free.
